Delivery of 12 YES-EU All-Electric Buses and Charging Equipment to LS-Liikennelinjat

Turku – YES-EU is pleased to announce another contract with the largest public bus company in Turku for the delivery of zero-emission vehicles in Finland.

A total of 12 new-generation YES-EU electric buses with a length of 15 metres were delivered to the Finnish bus company LS -Liikennelinjat Oy in the Turku region on 15 July 2021. This delivery underlines the advantages of the impressive 15-metre electric city bus. The delivery included 12 Yutong E15 3-axle city buses with 563kWh water-cooled batteries. The buses have been in service on several routes in Turku since 7 July 2021, heralding a new era of environmentally friendly, all-electric buses for LS -Liikennelinjat.

The delivery in Turku also included a total of 1200 kW of charging power through YES-EU. The subsidiary Enerqo delivered four units of brand new 300 kW smart charging systems with a total number of 24 charging pistols. This system is equipped with advanced charging technology and has impressive features such as: Dual charging, pre-heating support functions, OCPP 1.6, power allocation, automatic charge start, etc.

YES-EU and LS -Liikennelinjat have worked very closely together to develop a version of the 15-metre electric bus suitable for Turku, which meets the requirements of the city of Turku and the very difficult operating conditions in Finland. We are pleased to say that the project was a great success and the buses were delivered on time and complete for the planned use as agreed.
