Industry professionals and international guests arrive at the exterior of the newly inaugurated YES-EU Battery Service Center facility in Oslo.
YES-EU, Europe’s leading high-voltage battery service company, has signed a strategic partnership with NING Service, CATL’s official aftermarket service brand. With over 10,000 m², the newly launched YES-EU NING Service Center in Oslo, Norway, serves as a central hub for comprehensive battery lifecycle management, hands-on training and certified repairs.
This collaboration positions YES-EU at the forefront of high-voltage battery service solutions in Europe. Today, YES-EU operates in 15 European countries, with a local manufacturing base in Italy.
A partnership built since 2018
YES-EU and CATL have worked closely together since 2018. Back then, YES-EU became CATL’s first battery service partner in Europe. What began with battery service activities in Northern Europe has since developed into a long-term cooperation covering battery service, lifecycle support and the continued development of service capabilities across Europe.
The alliance combines CATL’s world-leading battery technology with YES-EU’s extensive operational footprint. Egzon Bajrami, COO of YES-EU Group, highlighted the complementary strengths of the partnership.
CATL brings world-leading battery technology, deep industry expertise and a globally recognized brand. YES-EU brings local European market knowledge, service infrastructure and operational capabilities. By combining these strengths, we are building a stronger battery service ecosystem that can support customers locally throughout the lifetime of their batteries.

Repair first, replace only when necessary
Through its expanding European battery service network, YES-EU provides both warranty and out-of-warranty battery repairs, supported by access to original OEM spare parts. The company serves fleet operators, OEMs, leasing companies and insurance providers, delivering battery and high-voltage services across E-Buses, E-Trucks, passenger vehicles, marine applications, energy storage systems and other battery-powered applications.
Repairing a damaged or faulty battery should not automatically mean replacing the complete battery pack. Through advanced diagnostics and component- and module-level repair capabilities, YES-EU can identify the affected part of the battery and, where technically possible, repair or replace the relevant component rather than the complete pack. This approach can significantly reduce repair and insurance costs for fleet operators, leasing companies and insurance providers, while extending battery lifetime and reducing unnecessary material waste.
Experience at European scale
To date, YES-EU’s team of over 200 experts in New Energy Business has successfully completed more than 1,800 battery work orders. The company has logged 20,000 high-voltage service hours and commissioned over 4,000 MWh.
YES-EU’s ambition is to become a leading company for New Energy Solutions, and this partnership is a key milestone in the development of its European service ecosystem. YES-EU aims to expand into more than 20 countries and build over 100 battery service workshops across Europe.
With more than 2,000 CATL-powered E-Buses delivered and already operating across the continent, YES-EU has a strong foundation to scale from. Our new battery service center in Norway further strengthens our position as a leading brand for New Energy Solutions. The Nordics are a focus as they are one of the most advanced markets for electric mobility; in Norway, 94% of all new vehicle registrations are EVs. This momentum also supports our broader ambition to deliver integrated New Energy Solutions, including the planned launch of a fully electric heavy-duty truck with battery capacity from 600 to 1,013 kWh later this year, currently in testing and developed with Nordic market requirements in mind.
