Cookie Policy
What cookies this website uses, what they do, and how you control them.
Last updated · June 2026
Cookies and similar technologies, including local storage technologies, are used on this website. They help keep the site working, remember your preferences and, only with your consent, help us understand how the site is used through aggregated statistical reporting. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings.
This Cookie Policy applies to the website operated by YES-EU Switzerland AG. In relation to personal data processed through cookies and similar technologies, YES-EU Switzerland AG acts as the controller unless otherwise stated.
1. Categories we use
This website uses two categories, and the consent banner offers exactly these two. Strictly necessary, required for the site to function, including remembering your cookie choice and your light/dark theme. Always active; no consent required. Statistics, help us understand how visitors use the site, through aggregated statistical reporting. Off by default and set only after you consent. We use no Marketing cookies and no Preferences cookies, so the banner offers no such categories.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
yes-eu-consent, the record of your cookie choice. It stores which categories you allowed and the date and time you chose. Stored in your browser (localStorage). Retained for 12 months, after which the banner asks you again. Set by: this website. yes-theme, remembers your light/dark theme preference. Stored in your browser (localStorage). Duration: until you clear it. Set by: this website. googtrans, set only if you choose a language in the translation menu; it remembers your chosen language so pages stay translated as you browse. Duration: until you switch back to English, which removes it. Set by: this website; read by Google Translate.
3. Statistics cookies
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.), measures site usage. Typical cookies: _ga (duration up to 2 years) and _ga_<id> (up to 2 years). Set only after you consent to statistics. Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation), user interaction analytics, heatmaps and session recordings designed to improve website usability. Cookies include _clck (duration up to 1 year) and _clsk (duration 1 day) and similar. Set only after you consent to statistics. Newsletter signup (Brevo / Sendinblue SAS): certain cookies or similar technologies may be used by Brevo when you subscribe to the newsletter or interact with newsletter-related forms. The duration and operation of such technologies are determined by Brevo.
4. Managing your choices
When you first visit, a consent banner appears with three controls: "Accept all" allows statistics cookies, "Decline" allows none beyond the strictly necessary ones, and "Settings" expands a per-category choice where you can switch Statistics on or off and confirm with "Save choices". Strictly necessary is always on and cannot be switched off. You can reopen the banner at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page, and withdrawing consent there is as easy as giving it. If you withdraw consent for statistics, the page reloads so the measurement scripts stop running. We ask for your consent again every 12 months unless you withdraw or change your preferences earlier. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off without affecting how the site works.
